Walk like an Egyptian!

Year 3 travelled back in time and became Egyptians for a day!  During our Egyptian themed day, we immersed ourselves in lots of fun activities and learnt lots of information about the ancient Egyptians.

We used Google Earth to explore the pyramids and the Valley of the Kings, we learnt the mummy rap and put actions to the words, we learnt the process of mummification, cracked codes using hieroglyphics and did lots of Egyptian crafts; including making our own mummies, designing death maths and building 3D pyramids and sphinxes. 

The children looked amazing in their Egyptian costumes and we had a super fun Egyptian day!
