3rd in Sussex!

On the hottest day so far this year our Year 3 & 4 golfers excelled in the Finals of the Tri Golf Sussex School Games.

The event was held at Beacon Academy in Crowborough and played on a sandy astroturf. The heat was as intense as the competition and Langney who were representing our region South Downs Giants showed plenty of teamwork and a lot of skill to accumulate points on 8 different stations. These ranged from chipping for distance, putting accuracy, target golf and we finished with a bronze medal to the delight of all.

You never know, we may have unearthed a budding Matt Fitzpatrick or a Georgia Hall in years to come.
