Soccer Saturday

On Saturday, in very wet conditions our school football team played in the Annual Eastbourne Primary Schools Football Tournament , held at Ocklynge School playing fields. Our team was the only school participating as a mixed squad for which we are very proud of. The boys and girls certainly matched their opposition in endeavour and skill , recording 2 wins (OPA and West Rise) and 2 1-0 losses (Ocklynge and Tollgate).

A huge thank you to all the parents for their positive support and their supply of coffee and snacks throughout and a special mention to Mrs Howard for keeping tabs on me and parent Mr Dell for assisting me in the officiating some of the games, including refereeing the Final between Stone Cross and Ocklynge.
